The Combined Face and Iris (CFI) dual modality
authentication package for the EMA-30 imager represents the latest innovation
in biometrics-based authentication from CMITech. In partnership with NEC, one
of the industry’s leading face recognition companies, and their award winning
NeoFace face recognition technology, the EMA-30/CFI offers a revolutionary authentication
solution for Physical Access Control (PACS), Time & Attendance, and other
similar authentication applications. The EMA-30/CFI system is a two stage
authentication approach: first, face recognition to take advantage of the speed
and subject ease of use inherent in the face recognition modality; then second,
iris recognition to provide the superb accuracy and resistance to false matches
that only the iris modality can provide. The CMITech CFI package is an
incremental software upgrade to the EMA-30 embedded, dual iris recognition
imager. It is also retrofittable to existing EMA-30 systems.
